Justice blocked Magis TV and Xuper TV in Argentina after a major international case against piracy

What started as transmission failures ended in a definitive block. Magis TV and Xuper TV no longer work in Argentinaafter a court order that annulled domains and deactivated the applications on Android devices.
The measure was issued by Judge Esteban Rossignoli, from the Court of Guarantees 4 of San Isidro. The objective: to stop the illegal distribution of series, movies and soccer matches within the framework of an international investigation.

What the courts decided against Magis TV and Xuper TV
According to the official report, the courts ordered the annulment of more than 70 domains linked to these platforms. It also required Google to technically deactivate the apps on Android devices with Argentine IP addresses.
The result was immediate: thousands of users encountered a black screen or error messages. The accounts directly stopped being usable in the region.
The "Operation 404" and the international investigation
The operation is part of the so-called "Operation 404", a major international case led by the Ministry of Justice of Brazil. In Argentina, UFEIC, headed by prosecutor Alejandro Musso, is involved.

The investigation included cyber patrols and raids. It also resulted in the seizure of hundreds of TV Boxes, devices used to "unlock" signals illegally. In parallel, Argentina recently signed a trade agreement with the United States that reinforces the commitment against digital piracy. The document focuses on intellectual property and requires stricter controls.

The hidden risks of installing these apps
Magis TV and Xuper TV were not available in official stores such as Google Play. To install them, it was necessary to download APK files from external sites and enable special permissions.
