INDUSTRY II already has a release date: the narrative shooter will arrive on April 15

Compartir:

The German studio Bleakmill officially confirmed that INDUSTRIA II, the sequel to its renowned sci-fi narrative shooter, will be released on April 15 for PC through Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.

The new title will once again immerse players in a universe of alternative realities, uncontrolled artificial intelligence and oppressive industrial environments, taking up the story of Nora after the events of the first game.

Nora will return to a dimension dominated by artificial intelligence ATLAS

The plot of INDUSTRY II takes place several years after the first installment and puts the player back in the shoes of Nora, who is still trapped in a parallel dimension far from home. This time, the protagonist must survive in a hostile boreal landscape while once again confronting ATLAS, the out-of-control artificial intelligence that she herself helped create

.

According to its developers, the story will show Nora trying to return to East Berlin in 1989, but a series of unexpected events will drag her back to the center of the conflict.

Bleakmill is once again betting on a short but intense experience

.

The studio explained that INDUSTRIA II will maintain its immersive narrative shooter approach, prioritizing story and atmosphere over duration. The campaign will last approximately four to six hours, seeking to offer a compact, intense experience without filling content.

The gameplay will once again focus on:

  • narrative exploration,

  • inventory management integrated with the world,

  • crafting, and realistic

  • physical interactions

.

The combat will include customizable weapons and robotic enemies

    .

In the playable section, INDUSTRY II will have five main weapons that can be modified with accessories such as:

    • silencers, extended magazines,

    and special attacks.

In addition, the game will pit the player against robotic enemies in more intense combat than in the first installment, incorporating visual effects such as oil spills, mechanical destruction and dismemberment to reinforce the dark tone of the experience.

The game will use Unreal Engine 5 to enhance its graphics

    .

One of the great technical leaps of this sequel will be the implementation of Unreal Engine 5, accompanied by the Lumen dynamic lighting system, allowing for a significant visual improvement

    compared to the first title.

Bleakmill also confirmed that the game will feature:

    • full dubbing,

    • dynamic music,

    • and advanced sound design using Wwise

    technology.

INDUSTRY II seeks to consolidate itself as one of the most outstanding narrative indies of the year

After the good reception of the first installment in 2021, Bleakmill now aims to expand the franchise to a wider audience, maintaining the identity that turned the original into a cult proposal within the indie science fiction

    genre.

The combination of cinematic narrative, oppressive setting and reflection on the dangers of artificial intelligence repositions INDUSTRIA II as one of the most promising independent releases of the month.
