Crisis at San Lorenzo: now the secretary of records Daniela Méndez Righi has resigned
The institutional climate at Ciclón is more tense than ever after the hidden camera incident with Marcelo Moretti
San Lorenzo is going through a deep institutional crisis. The management is working intensely to determine who will replace Marcelo Moretti, who requested leave after being involved in a scandal over alleged bribery. The situation worsened with the resignation of Néstor Navarro from his position as first vice president.
In this context, Daniela Méndez Righi, board member and recording secretary, also submitted her resignation. The resignation has already been delivered to the secretariat and will be formalized at the next Board of Directors meeting. "The project was distorted and it is impossible to contribute to solving this present situation," stated Méndez Righi in a conversation with journalist Gonzalo Orellano.

Meanwhile, during the day, two or three more resignations could be confirmed. Among them, the resignation of board member Pablo Levalle, who was returning from a trip, and Uriel Barros, a trusted man of Moretti. Barros had already made his resignation available when the videos compromising the president were released, although he has not yet formalized the decision.
If these departures are finalized, they must be addressed at the Board of Directors meeting convened for this Thursday at 1:45 PM, at the Pedro Bidegain stadium. In that session, Moretti's leave will also be formally addressed and replacements for the vacant positions will be chosen.
Two names to lead the club: Andrés Terzano and Julio Lopardo
On Monday afternoon, the club's main authorities met with the AFA president, Claudio Chiqui Tapia, to seek a solution to the institutional situation. From that meeting, two names emerged as the main candidates to assume the presidency of San Lorenzo.

The one with the most consensus is Andrés Terzano, current second vice president. According to the statute, he would be responsible for assuming the presidency in the absence of the president and the first vice president.
The figure of Julio Lopardo also gained strength, a leader with his own weight in the current management structure and who was already vice president during Fernando Miele's administration. Despite his past public critical statements toward Tapia, the tension seems to have been overcome after an apology from Lopardo.
Everything indicates that the club's immediate future will be in the hands of the duo Terzano-Lopardo or Lopardo-Terzano, with the order yet to be defined. Leandro Goroyesky, the current treasurer of the institution, was left out of the leadership discussion.
