Viviana Canosa received a harsh judicial blow following the resolution of the complaint she had filed months earlier against various entertainment figures, including Lizy Tagliani, Elizabeth Vernaci — popularly known as "La Negra Vernaci" — and Damián Betular. The court determined that none of the individuals mentioned in her filing are charged in the case for alleged child trafficking.
The complaint had caused significant media commotion, since the host had publicly accused several artists and communicators of allegedly being involved in a trafficking network. However, after months of investigation, the case file did not yield any evidence linking the individuals mentioned to the reported events.
This way, the court confirmed that none of them face any charges, nor were any victims or evidence presented to support the accusations. The decision was communicated directly to the individuals who had been named in the original filing.
The first to publicly address the ruling was Vernaci, who did so live on her show La Negra Pop (Radio Pop). "Ms. Canosa is concerned about the court, as long as it doesn't send her a legal notice because she won't accept it; she's concerned so she can go and make things up. The ruling is out: no charges against anyone. Everything she said and all the trouble she caused us... no one is involved and no documents, no victims have been presented. Why did she make all this up? For ratings? Because she's crazy? We're going to find out in the various lawsuits each of us is filing against her," she stated harshly.
The news was also echoed by Rodrigo Lussich on Intrusos (América TV). "Some of the individuals mentioned in Canosa's complaint have received notification that they are not charged. Each of those involved asked the court if they were charged and the response was no, so there is nothing to fear because they are not under investigation and now they are filing complaints against Canosa," the host explained.
According to reports, not all the names mentioned in the case file have formally requested that judicial certificate. Among them, Marley and Florencia Peña reportedly have not yet made that request.
