Keanu Reeves has confirmed his interest in reprising the role of Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2, the sequel to CD Projekt's successful RPG. The news comes as he promotes his new film Good Fortune.
In a conversation with IGN, Reeves was clear: "Of course. I'd love to play Johnny Silverhand again." The sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 is still in pre-production and doesn't have an official release date yet.

Cyberpunk 2: development and expectations
The game has been in pre-production since May 2025 and, according to CD Projekt, developments of this kind usually take between four and five years. This indicates that Cyberpunk 2 is expected to arrive between 2029 and 2030.
Mike Pondsmith, creator of the Cyberpunk universe, revealed that players will explore a new city in addition to Night City. He described this setting as a "Chicago gone wrong," although he did not confirm whether it is a futuristic version of the American city.
