While the Senate debates the Law of Inviolability of Private Property, Kirchnerism marches for the reform of the Land Law, a chapter that the ruling party eliminated

When asked by the press about the reasons for their protest, one of the Kirchnerist militants absurdly stated: “Argentine lands are not for sale. There is a law that says Argentine lands are not for sale. It is constitutionally in the law”.

In the same line of empty disqualification and lack of technical support, another protester claimed before the cameras that his only purpose for attending the march was to “tell Milei's psychic no”.

For decades, the lack of guarantees regarding property and contracts has deterred the arrival of capital, plunging Argentina into stagnation. With this initiative, the ruling party aims to reverse historical decline and restore a fundamental principle for economic growth.

In the face of this institutional advance, the political and union apparatus of Peronism and the left parties called for a protest march in the vicinity of the legislative palace.

Organizations such as the CGT, the two branches of the CTA, the UTEP, environmental groups, and opposition parties mobilized their structures in the rain to express their rejection of strengthening property rights in the country.

As often happens in these calls from the opposition apparatus, the massiveness that leaders try to simulate is reduced to a compact group of militants belonging to political party organizations. According to observations at the site, the presence of self-convened citizens without organic affiliation was practically nonexistent, evidencing that the demand does not represent the sentiment of the working society, but rather the interests of feudal elites who fear losing control over state discretion.

This Thursday, starting at 2 PM, the National Senate is conducting the discussion of the Law of Inviolability of Private Property, a key structural reform promoted by President Javier Milei. The project aims to establish an unprecedented framework of legal security in the country, limiting state abuses, guaranteeing adequate compensation in the event of expropriations, streamlining the digitalization of the real estate system, and accelerating eviction processes in the face of illegal occupations.

The most scandalous and bizarre fact of the day is that the militant crowd gathered at the Congress is protesting against a ghost. The main banner of the mobilization is the rejection of the Land Law reform.

However, due to intense opposition pressure and a lack of consensus, the ruling party of La Libertad Avanza made the firm decision on Wednesday to completely withdraw the chapter on agrarian reform from the initiative being debated today.

Although the reform has formally been removed from the legislative debate to unblock the rest of the project, the protesters continued to march obstinately.

Iconic slogans of the nationalist narrative such as "The homeland is not for sale" resonate in the square of the Congress against a text that is not even being discussed in the chamber.

The absolute ignorance of what is being legislated behind closed doors was recorded in statements from the protesters themselves that quickly went viral on social media, exposing the level of misinformation that prevails among Kirchnerist militants.
