A recent survey conducted in Ciudad de Buenos Aires placed La Libertad Avanza (LLA), President Javier Milei's party, in a widely dominant position, with a 22-point lead in voting intention for the upcoming Chief of Government election in 2027.
The poll, based on a sample of 1,136 cases between November 19 and 27, first explores the public mood regarding a possible reelection of the current Chief of Government, Jorge Macri. The PRO leader's performance contrasts notably with President Milei's in similar measurements: while the national leader received predominant support for a new term, the opposite occurs in the city.
The question posed to respondents was clear: "If the 2027 Ciudad de Buenos Aires Chief of Government elections were held today, would you vote for or against Jorge Macri's reelection?"
Bullrich y Javier Milei.
According to the report, 22% expressed support, 51% opposed, and 27% fell into the undecided category. In contrast, when the consulting firm evaluated the President's situation, the relationship was reversed: 52% leaned toward "yes," 33% toward "no," and 15% had no defined position.
After this initial approach, the Isasi-Burdman study moves on to specific voting intention for the 2027 Buenos Aires elections. There, the scene aligns with this year's results and with the local strengthening of the libertarian movement.
Patricia Bullrich ranks first, leading the poll with 40%. The leader, who had already shown a strong vote share in October, would thus extend her prominence in the Buenos Aires political scene. In second place is the radical Kirchnerist Leandro Santoro, with 18%, far behind the libertarian ruling party.
Further behind is the current Chief of Government, Jorge Macri, with 14%, a figure that marks a setback for someone who had brought forward the local elections precisely to strengthen his future competitiveness. According to the study, the strategy not only failed to consolidate his image, but today leaves him relegated.

In fourth place is Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, with 8%, repeating the percentage he obtained in his recent legislative candidacy. Although the former Chief of Government celebrated his "return" at the time, current numbers continue to show difficulties in rebuilding solid leadership with a view to a possible new candidacy in 2027.
The fifth spot goes to the communist Myriam Bregman, who receives 6%, far from her performance in the October national Buenos Aires election. The list is completed with 2% for other candidates and an additional 12% who have not yet decided their vote.
With these numbers, La Libertad Avanza could expand significantly in 2027 and even come to govern Ciudad de Buenos Aires, one of the districts where it receives significant support.
