Nuevocentro Shopping submitted an ambitious building permit to Córdoba City Hall to expand its current facilities. The private initiative involves an investment of US$ 15 million and plans to expand the complex's operational area by a total of 30%.
The project confirmed by CEO Antonio Heinz includes the construction of 3 levels of commercial podium of 4,000 m² (43,056 ft²) each. Another 3 levels of underground parking will also be added, which will add 12,000 m² (129,167 ft²) to improve vehicle parking capacity.
The construction work will require between 18 and 24 months of execution and will allow the arrival of new entertainment offerings and international brands. This constant flow of activity sustains an economic ecosystem that currently generates 2,000 direct jobs and 1,500 indirect jobs.
