This Monday, in a new auction by Consignaciones Córdoba, at the Jesús María Rural Society, there were slight movements in livestock prices.
The 100 to 150-kilogram (220 to 330-pound) calf was paid at $4,000 per kilogram, an 8% increase compared to the previous week.

The feeder animal recovered part of its value, since it had experienced a decrease of around 10% in previous auctions.
Meanwhile, the 300 to 350-kilogram (660 to 770-pound) calf was paid at $3,300, which implies a 2.4% drop in price compared to seven days ago.
It is worth noting that this value serves as a reference for meat prices on store shelves.
In the last 12 months, the price of slaughter steer in dollars in Argentina has risen to U$S 4.50 per kilogram (+13%), while in Australia the steer is worth U$S 4.75 per kilogram (11% more than a year ago), in Uruguay it is quoted at U$S 5.10 (+25%); in Brazil, U$S 3.58 (+35%); in Paraguay, U$S 4.20 (+35%); in the European Union, U$S 8.47 per kilogram (+51%), and in the United States the steer is worth U$S 8.40 per kilogram on the hook, with a year-on-year increase of 33%.
Compared to three years ago, the accumulated increase of the steer in the USA is 70%.
