While Xeneize analyzes reinforcements for the second half of the year, the Uruguayan's environment assured that today a return in the short term looks complicated.

In the final stretch of the first semester, Boca is already thinking about the next transfer market and one of the names that has resurfaced is Nahitan Nández. However, when it seemed that the Uruguayan's return could gain momentum for the second half of the year, those close to the player cooled expectations and hinted that today the negotiation is far from being finalized.

Pablo Bentancur, the midfielder's representative, spoke about the club's interest from La Ribera and made it clear that, for now, there have been no concrete advances with the management led by Juan Román Riquelme. "The situation with Boca is more about the team needing to move for him. Right now, I see it as somewhat difficult", he stated in an interview with Carve Deportiva. Despite this, the agent also emphasized the strong emotional bond that Nández maintains with Xeneize since his departure in 2019. "Still, he has a love for Boca. He is very passionate", he asserted.

The Uruguayan player is experiencing a great present at Al-Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia, where he has become one of the team's standout figures. According to Bentancur, the Arab club has already begun efforts to extend his contract and is looking to retain him amid interest from other markets. "Just yesterday we received a very good offer to renew, the coach is very happy. He is fighting to be the best player on the team and in the league", he revealed.

The representative also detailed that the midfielder has received significant inquiries from other destinations. "I have already received a very important offer from Mexico, which I didn't know they could pay that much. Two clubs from Italy have called me", he commented.

For now, the possible return of the Uruguayan seems more linked to desire than to a concrete negotiation, although those around the player are not completely closing the door on the club where he became one of the fans' favorites.

Nández's numbers at Al-Qadsiah and Boca

Since his arrival at the Arab team in mid-2024 from Cagliari, the native of Punta del Este has played 6049 minutes in 68 matches, scoring 8 goals, providing 14 assists, and receiving 19 yellow cards.

On the other hand, during his time at Xeneize between 2017 and 2019, the 30-year-old Uruguayan played 5,135 minutes, spread over 67 matches, where he scored 6 goals, provided 7 assists, and was booked 21 times. In terms of titles, he won two: Superliga 2018 and Supercopa Argentina 2019.
