Riquelme decided that two players will never wear Boca's jersey again.
Due to poor performances and disciplinary issues, the Xeneize boss will seek to expel them from the club immediately
Boca is going through one of the most delicate moments of the last two decades. Without a clear direction on the field, the figure of Juan Román Riquelme, who was once the undisputed hero of the club, lost credit in just a year and a half, after a series of decisions that included the departure of all the coaches he himself chose and several ineffective transfer markets.
With less than a month to the start of the Club World Cup and without a confirmed coach, the Xeneize president began to take important measures regarding some players on the squad, while the search for the next coach continues.
According to information that emerged in the last few hours, Riquelme decided that Marcos Rojo and Luis Advíncula will no longer be part of the team.

In the case of the defender, he did not attend the training prior to the match against Independiente, claiming to feel physically unwell. However, sources close to the squad revealed that Rojo was at his friend Darío Benedetto's birthday party the night before and then did not show up the next day to be checked by the club's doctors, which caused strong anger both in the coaching staff and the management.
Meanwhile, the reason for Advíncula's departure is linked to his poor performance on the field. The Xeneize boss has already decided that the Peruvian full-back will not be part of the delegation that will participate in the Club World Cup, and the club is working on his prompt release.
These decisions come amid a deep crisis, both institutionally and sportingly, with numerous open conflicts and a team performance well below expectations.
