Codini, based in the city of San Francisco, managed to complete a historic first shipment of household appliances to the North American market. This commercial breakthrough is strengthened by the solid diplomatic alignment and strategic ties established between Javier Milei and Donald Trump. The opening of this commercial market represents external validation of the competitiveness that the industries of the interior of Córdoba are recovering.

The initial shipment sent from the eastern part of the province consisted of 740 centrifugal clothes dryers adapted to the buyers' technical requirements. The engineering team had to develop a specific 110-volt motor to comply with United States electrical safety regulations. In this regard, Martín Gramaglia, Codini's Purchasing and Foreign Trade manager, stated: "The arrival in the United States represents a significant leap in technical and logistical terms, and at the same time a great opportunity to position Argentine manufacturing in a highly competitive market."

Among the models dispatched, the line called "bio" stands out, which caused marked interest among consumers due to its design and efficiency. The company also optimized packaging and logistics to ensure that each unit reaches United States store shelves in perfect condition. This milestone places the Córdoba industry at a level of excellence that makes it possible to project sustained growth in its foreign sales.

Industrial expansion of Córdoba to the world

Originally founded in 1947 by José Francisco Codini, the factory is currently going through its third generation of management with a modern vision. Although the company already had experience in regional markets such as Brazil and Bolivia, the landing in North America raises its prestige on a global scale. The director of the company, Javier Codini, explained that they are now working on projects to formalize new agreements in the competitive Mexican market.

The company's strategic plan projects that by 2026 at least 10% of total production will be destined to meet foreign demand. "In 2025 we restarted export operations and our objective is that, by 2026, at least 10% of our production will be destined for external markets," added Javier Codini. The stability of the bilateral rules of the game makes it easier for investments in product development to translate into concrete results.

A commercial office was recently opened in Uruguay to consolidate the brand's presence in South American countries through e-commerce. The modernization of internal processes allows this SME from Córdoba to strengthen its competitiveness against major white goods producers. This export success confirms the potential of the San Francisco industry when there is a national government that actively promotes free trade.
