After the victory of Boca against San Lorenzo in the Clausura Tournament 2026, Sebastián Villa found himself back in the spotlight, although this time far from what happened on the field. During a live broadcast while sharing a meal with other content creators, the Colombian forward addressed the criticisms he received since his return to the club from La Ribera and pointed directly at Davoo Xeneize and La Cobra.
The footballer questioned the opinions of both streamers and doubted the value of their analyses about the players. Villa expressed: "I don't like to sell smoke. They are two smoke sellers. I haven't done anything to them, just because they are Boca supporters they think they have the right to defame people. I don't like that".
The attacker also went further and marked a difference between talking about football and performing on the field. In that sense, he emphasized: "Sometimes the streams come out, but they talk a lot about football and on the field nothing, next to me they are tiny".
Davoo Xeneize's response
The Colombian's remarks received an almost immediate response from Davoo Xeneize, who recalled that from the beginning he had questioned the player's return to Boca. The streamer explained: "First of all, when Villa arrived at Boca I was against that negotiation, for me Boca shouldn't have spent seven bucks on Villa".
Far from framing the exchange as a personal dispute, Davoo maintained that criticism is part of his role as a fan and considered that the forward is also entitled to respond. "When I give my opinion about the players, the truth is that I criticize, and I have criticized Villa, that's a reality. If I criticize Villa in my opinion, why can't he criticize me?", he pointed out.
In the same vein, the content creator added: "I criticize him, he criticizes me, that's perfect. He has every right in the world to be angry with me, just as I have every right in the world as a Boca fan to analyze his signing or his matches. Let him say whatever he wants".
Davoo also urged to avoid letting the clash take center stage in the club's current affairs. "If I criticize Villa, he has every right in the world to criticize me. I know how much of a Boca fan I am to get into this. What Boca needs least is drama", he asserted.
La Cobra's response
For his part, La Cobra chose a different stance in response to the footballer's statements. The streamer decided to reply during a broadcast and made it clear that he had no intention of turning the episode into a personal confrontation.
"I don't invest my time in people who waste my time insulting me or my friends. I don't care if it's a kid from the chat or a Boca forward", he initially stated. Then, in response to his followers' insistence, he further downplayed the episode and stated: "I couldn't care less. I hope he scores many goals at Boca. I've never needed controversy to be where I am".
