Eduardo Feinmann expressed his anger at the constant television coverage of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner's appearances on the balcony of the apartment where she is under house arrest.
Everything happened during the television segment with Pablo Rossi on A24, while they were showing images of the former president greeting supporters from the balcony of her home located at San José 1111.
“I’m leaving, we’re starting over with this. Is it necessary? Poor neighbors. Take her off, take her off the air. There’s no need to show her,” the host exclaimed.
Far from lowering the tone, the journalist insisted that Cristina Kirchner's public appearances should not receive so much media attention. “We shouldn’t pay attention to it. We should only pay attention if she doesn’t comply with her house arrest,” he emphasized.
However, the most talked-about moment came when the journalist referred to the viral video showing Cristina Fernández de Kirchner returning to her home after spending several hours away.
The images had been recorded by neighbors and quickly began circulating on social media. “She left at around 9 and came back at 2 in the afternoon. Look, the lady is very proud,” he commented sarcastically while watching the images on air.
According to journalist Gabriel Iezzi, who specializes in judicial matters, the outing had been authorized by the Federal Oral Court 2 so that the former president could attend the dentist.
But Feinmann took advantage of the situation to launch a sarcastic theory about the supposed treatment she might have received. “They say they made her a new dining room, I think. I mean, for so many hours at the dentist”, he hinted with laughter.
At that moment, Dr. Claudio Zin intervened, explaining that it was probably a more complex procedure, like a dental implant, which usually takes several hours.
Far from closing the controversy, Feinmann doubled down and concluded with another statement full of irony. “A new dining room, that’s very good”, he finished.
Reactions on social media
Quickly, the communicator's comment went viral on social media, where hundreds of people agreed on the number of privileges the K leader has while being imprisoned.
