Dai Fernández separated, and rumors about Nico Vázquez exploded.

Actress and singer Dai Fernández confirmed the end of her relationship with Gonzalo Gerber after seven years together. The news, revealed this Monday on Intrusos (América TV) by Paula Varela, made an impact both because of the duration of the relationship and the context in which it happened.

The announcement came as rumors were growing that linked her romantically with Nicolás Vázquez, just over a month after the separation from Gimena Accardi, who ended an 18-year relationship.

A separation marked by wear and exposure

According to the journalist from the show hosted by Rodrigo Lussich and Adrián Pallares, the relationship between Fernández and Gerber was already going through a period of wear. However, media exposure and speculation surrounding the breakup of Vázquez and Accardi would have intensified the crisis.

"It's a separation that's going to make headlines because it brings other speculations along with it. There had already been wear for some time, and what happened with Nico eroded the crisis they were already going through a bit," Varela pointed out.

The relationship between the female lead of Rocky, the musical, and her castmate was the center of attention. Fernández plays Adrian Pennino, Rocky Balboa's partner, a role played by Vázquez. Both spent long rehearsal days at the Teatro Lola Membrives, as well as a trip to Philadelphia to delve deeper into the world of the play. The onstage chemistry, as highlighted in the media, did not go unnoticed.

The origin of the rumors and the denials

Suspicions arose after the abrupt separation of Nico and Gimena, announced through a joint statement on social media. Since then, there has been speculation about the existence of third parties. In the actor's case, the names of Dai Fernández and Mercedes Oviedo circulated strongly.

Nevertheless, other versions indicated that the "final straw" between Vázquez and Accardi would have been motivated by a third party on the actress's side. "Although Nico and Gimena had been going through a relationship crisis, the final straw is because of a third party on Gimena's side," Varela stated.

In the face of rumors, the main figures intervened publicly. Vázquez described Fernández as "almost a sister" and highlighted her emotional support during a difficult time. She, meanwhile, stated: "The people who needed to speak have already spoken. I'm calm, focused on my work and my relationship."

The professional relationship between the two dated back to Tootsie, when Fernández replaced Julieta Nair Calvo and caused such chemistry with Vázquez that the actor later invited her to join Rocky. 

Meanwhile, Vázquez celebrated his return to the stage after recovering from a tear in the piriformis muscle. "Today a full house awaits me to reunite with my Rocky, and 'thank you' isn't enough for what I feel," the actor expressed on his social media.
