Ultra-Democratic Senator Fetterman urged Trump to bomb Iran's bases.

The Democratic senator from Pennsylvania called on the President of the United States to abandon negotiations with Iran and bomb their nuclear facilities

Democratic Senator from Pennsylvania, John Fetterman, has drawn attention by urging the Trump administration to completely abandon nuclear negotiations with Iran and instead launch military strikes to destroy the country's nuclear facilities.

In statements to the Washington Free Beacon, Fetterman stated that current diplomatic efforts are useless and that the United States should take advantage of what he considers an "unbelievable window" to act militarily.

During the interview, Fetterman was blunt: "Destroy that crap," he said, referring to the Iranian nuclear facilities. "You are never going to be able to negotiate with a regime like that, which has been destabilizing the region for decades," he added.

The senator expressed his conviction that the only way to stop the Iranian nuclear program is through a direct and decisive attack.

Fetterman dismissed the warnings of foreign policy experts who fear that military action could trigger a regional war. He labeled these analysts as "so-called experts" and stated that their concerns are unfounded. In his opinion, Iran-backed groups like Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis no longer pose a significant threat.

"Hezbollah can't fight for shi--," he said, while ridiculing Hamas as "a bunch of tunnel rats with junk rockets in the back of a Toyota truck."

According to Fetterman, the Houthis have also been "effectively neutralized." In his view, the only remaining target is Iran and its nuclear facilities, which he insisted are solely intended for weapons production.

The senator's statements come at a time when the Trump administration has resumed indirect contacts with Iran. President Trump, who in 2018 withdrew the United States from the ill-fated 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), has warned that he could take military action if a new agreement is not reached quickly.

The presidential special envoy, Steve Witkoff, is leading efforts to establish a negotiating framework with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi.

The talks are scheduled to take place this Saturday at the Omani ambassador's residence in Rome, a location chosen for its neutrality and good relations with both parties.

Despite Fetterman's skepticism, both delegations have positively rated the talks held in Oman the previous week, and they are optimistic about the possibility of reaching a diplomatic solution. However, the pressure from the anti-Iran hardline in Washington, represented by figures like Fetterman, complicates the path to a peaceful agreement.

The senator also justified his stance by pointing out that, although he understood why Trump withdrew from Obama's deal years ago, he doesn't understand why the former president is now considering renegotiating.

"Today I don't understand why Trump would want to negotiate with that sick regime. The negotiations should consist of 30,000-pound bombs and the IDF," he said, referring to the Israel Defense Forces.

Fetterman, known for his strong support for Israel, recently met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who gave him a silver locator as a symbol of his support in the fight against Hezbollah.

Meanwhile, Israel has considered carrying out a more limited attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, which could be executed with less assistance from Washington, while the Trump administration continues to officially bet on the diplomatic route.
