Evidence points to a decade of criminal activity at Rancho Izaguirre
The extermination center linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel is said to have operated with impunity for ten years
For a decade, Rancho Izaguirre in Jalisco served as a CJNG extermination center without any intervention from the authorities.
This discovery exposes the impunity with which criminal groups operate in Mexico and the negligence of security institutions.

Ten years of horror in Teuchitlán
The existence of this site came to light thanks to the collective Guerreros Buscadores de Jalisco, who discovered three cremation ovens with charred human remains, more than 400 pairs of shoes, personal identifications, and bullet casings.
Anonymous testimonies suggest that the disappearances of people in the region were directly linked to this ranch. It was used not only for the execution of victims but also as a training camp for hitmen.

Evidence that the authorities ignored
The discovery of Rancho Izaguirre reveals a series of serious omissions by the authorities. For years, search collectives alerted about the high number of missing persons in Jalisco, a state that leads the national list with more than 15,000 unlocated people.
However, despite the complaints and indications, no authority thoroughly investigated what was happening in the area.
This ranch could have been shut down much earlier if the authorities had addressed the complaints of relatives of the missing and search collectives. However, inaction allowed it to continue operating for an extended period.

Jalisco: epicenter of impunity
International organizations have pointed out that Jalisco is one of the entities with the highest number of forced disappearances in the country, but the government has been unable to stop the violence or clarify these cases.
The discovery has caused outrage among the population, who demand answers and punishment for those responsible.

However, the state government, the federal government, and the Prosecutor's Office have issued ambiguous statements. None have taken responsibility for the omission that allowed this site to operate with total impunity.
