The group La Libertad Avanza Uruguay has reached a significant milestone by gathering the number of signatures required by the Electoral Court to formalize itself as a political party in the country.
This achievement, which was announced through the social network X, marks a key step for the group to be able to participate in the national elections scheduled for 2029.
The new party defines itself as a "new right-wing front" that, according to its bylaws, aims to "unite different conservative, patriotic, and libertarian movements" under a single political vision. This project seeks to consolidate a proposal that combines traditional values with principles of individual freedom, according to its official communications.
