Malvín Norte once again became the scene of youthful irresponsibility, where a 17-year-old teenager thought he could rob a 22-year-old police officer and ended up injured and humiliated by his own recklessness.
The incident occurred this Tuesday night, around 9:30 p.m., when the officer, who works in the National Police Investigations Directorate, was leaving his home in the area of Doctor Carlos María Prando and Camino Carrasco. Three young men—including the day's star teenager, with several prior investigations—decided that robbing an armed and trained police officer was a brilliant idea. Spoiler: it was not.

Reality lessons for teenage criminals
The strikers, armed, demanded belongings from the young police officer. Faced with the threat, he acted as he should: he drew his service weapon and fired, injuring the teenager in the shoulder. The other two, probably reflecting on their life choices, managed to escape.
The most ridiculous part of the case: the injured 17-year-old criminal already had several investigations, which shows that "criminal experience" at that age is nothing more than a record of irresponsibility. One might think that after several legal warnings, a teenager would learn not to put himself in such obvious and dangerous situations... but no. This boy decided that robbing a trained police officer was a good plan, and reality taught him a lesson he will hardly forget.
