Today, President Javier Milei led the event for the 34th anniversary of the attack on the Israeli Embassy in Argentina and left a speech with strong definitions of terrorism, anti-Semitism and the country's international position, reaffirming the alliance with Israel and directly pointing to Iran as responsible
.
During his speech, Milei recalled the attack that occurred in 1992 and described it as “a cowardly attack resulting from Iranian terrorism, which claimed the lives of 29 people and left 240 injured”, while stressing its profound impact on society: “Anattempt was not made to destroy just one building, no, the moral foundations of our society were attacked”.
In this context, the president emphasized the link between Argentina and Israel, arguing that both countries share fundamental values. “Today, Argentina is a partner of Israel in the defense of these values of freedom and the fight against terrorism,” he said, adding that the attacks sought to “curtail, through terror, the moral clarity

Milei also highlighted advances in judicial matters and once again pointed to Iran and the terrorist group Hezbollah: “Argentina has recognized the nature of both attacks as a crime against humanity and has pointed out the responsibility of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah in carrying out these atrocious

Along these lines, he valued the declaration of unconstitutionality of the Memorandum with Iran as “another necessary step to re-establish the right course in the investigation.”
With a firm tone, the President remarked that “in the face of terrorism there can be no truce: it is a threat that requires political decision, institutional perseverance and a commitment that does not run out in time”, and linked that struggle to the current international scene.

In addition, the head of state defended the political direction of his administration by assuring that he acts with “morality as State policy” and that the objective is to sustain the values of the West as the basis of development. “We understand that respect for Western values is the basis of all good governance and that it leads to the greatest prosperity,” he said
.
Finally, the President reaffirmed Argentina's geopolitical position in the current international context: “we also make clear where we stand at this historic moment, in which the United States and Israel have decided to put an end to the Iranian regime”, and he closed with a strong reflection: “the price of freedom is eternal vigilance”.
