The Superclásico between Boca and River already has a confirmed referee. The AFA has appointed Nicolás Ramírez as the official in charge of ensuring fair play in the match that will be played this Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at La Bombonera, for a new round of the championship.
Ramírez, who is 38 years old, recently officiated the Copa Argentina final between Argentinos Juniors and Independiente Rivadavia, and is repeating as the main referee of the most important match in Argentine soccer for the third consecutive time, a fact that consolidates his presence in high-tension clashes.

For this edition of the Superclásico, Ramírez will have Juan Pablo Belatti and Pablo González as assistants, while VAR will be managed by Héctor Paletta.
The referee has become a recurring figure in matches between the giants. So far in 2025, he has already officiated the Boca-River match in the Torneo Apertura, in addition to having been present in other major clásicos such as Racing-Independiente and other clashes between the big teams.
