Claude gets ahead of ChatGPT with free features to create and share projects
Claude now allows users to create, edit, and share apps, dashboards, and more from their mobile devices, free of charge and without limits
Anthropic introduced a key update for Claude, the Artificial Intelligence that allows users to share and remix Artifacts. This new feature is now available to all users, including those on the free plan.
The feature has also arrived on mobile apps, which transforms the user experience. Now users can collaborate, edit, and create projects from their phones with unprecedented fluidity.

What are Artifacts?
Artifacts are a kind of visual and dynamic workspace that allows users to view, create, and modify AI-caused content. The idea is to move beyond plain text and start interacting with a real-time result.
They can include anything from code snippets and graphics to complete dashboards or app prototypes. Everything is edited instantly, without leaving the Claude environment.
A collaborative and cross-platform experience
The major innovation is that users can now share and remix Artifacts created by others. This opens up a world of possibilities for teamwork and collective development.

In the Android or iOS app, they have their own space within the side menu. There, users can view featured projects and select them as a base for new creations.
What can users do with an Artifact?
- Students can ask Claude to design a flashcard app.
- Programmers can visualize complete architectures from a prompt.
- Designers can generate prototypes or interactive visualizations.
- Marketing can create dashboards with live metrics.
- Sales can simulate funnels and business forecasts.

How to create an Artifact with Claude
Anthropic recommends thinking big: don't ask for a to-do list, ask Claude for an app that manages them. The Artifact comes to life just by dictating an idea to the AI.
Additionally, everyone on free or Pro plans can share them with the community or remix others' without paying anything extra.
