Córdoba, key player at Agroactiva: record number of loans in the 2024 edition

The agricultural sector received record financing of more than USD 6.5 billion, led by Banco Nación

Financing for the agricultural sector reached historic levels at the recent Agroactiva 2025 edition. The event, held in Armstrong, Santa Fe, was the setting for a milestone: Banco Nación granted loans totaling USD 6.5 billion. This figure marks a new era for the country's most competitive productive sector.

The institution received more than 11,000 loan applications, 60% more than in 2024. The focus was on new and used machinery, inputs, and exports. In the words of its president, Daniel Tillard, "the demand reflects confidence in economic recovery."

Córdoba stands out with investment and machinery

Córdoba was one of the most active provinces in agro-industrial financing applications.Producers from Córdoba submitted transactions worth billions of pesos, especially for the acquisition of domestic machinery. This consolidates its position as one of the main hubs of productive modernization in the country.

The agricultural sector in Córdoba, historically competitive, leads in the adoption of technology and efficiency. Financing not only enables greater scale, but also more agile production cycles. This response demonstrates that without obstacles or suffocating export taxes, producers invest and produce.

Santa Fe and Entre Ríos also break records

Provincial banks such as Santa Fe and Entre Ríos also broke records in credit operations. At Agroactiva alone, they received more than 640 billion pesos in applications. Producers from both provinces led requests for machinery, inputs, and working capital.

In total, the two institutions granted 3,800 loans for more than $465 billion and USD 144 million. Corporate manager Fernando González highlighted competitive rates and solid financial tools. "The producers' response was overwhelming," he stated.

In addition, alliances were consolidated with leading agricultural suppliers, optimizing processes and reducing costs. The market logic once again demonstrated its efficiency without bureaucracy or ineffective subsidies.

The agricultural sector once again takes center stage in the recovery

So far in 2025, Banco Nación has already disbursed USD 370 million in agricultural machinery. More than 2,900 productive operations have been completed throughout the country. These are hard facts that confirm that when producers are set free, the agricultural sector responds.

The focus on working capital, with accessible conditions, breathes new life into the productive heart of Argentina. This is no coincidence: instead of subsidies, there is investment. Instead of obstacles, there is competitive financing.

The strong demand for loans also demonstrates the agricultural sector's support for the Javier Milei administration. "This year, once again, we've exceeded all expectations, both in assistance and in business volume. The high demand for loans reflects the sector's confidence in economic recovery and the sustained growth of the agro-industrial sector," stated Daniel Tillard, president of BNA and a native of Córdoba.
