The Children's Hospital of Córdobacarried out a live broadcast of a surgery to an international medical congress for the first time. The procedure, performed in the Hemodynamics Room, was part of the academic activities of the Latin American Society of Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Alejandro Peirone, head of the Cardiology Department, highlighted the educational value of the initiative for the international medical community. "The live broadcast of hemodynamic cases from our hospital not only enriches learning and fosters collaboration, but also improves patient care through the exchange of real-time experiences," he stated. The intervention was part of the academic activities of the Congress of the Latin American Society of Interventional Cardiology (SOLACI).
Peirone also explained that this type of practice allows local professionals to exchange knowledge with specialists from other countries. This way, a space for ongoing cooperation is created in which each shared experience strengthens the medical strategies applied to complex cases.
