La Libertad Avanza sweeps the polls and establishes itself as the main force

The space led by President Milei is the political force with the greatest popular support, according to a new survey

Just a few months before the national legislative elections, a new survey by consulting firm Giacobbe & Asociados recently released confirms a key fact about the Argentine political landscape.

La Libertad Avanza (LLA), President Javier Milei's party, comfortably leads voting intentions across the entire country, with 40.9% support, well ahead of the rest of the political forces.

The survey, conducted between May 29 and June 2, 2025, on 2,500 cases and with a 2% margin of error, shows that the space led by President Milei remains the force with the greatest popular support.

In second place, far behind, is Kirchnerism/Peronism with 26.3%, almost 15 percentage points below LLA. The rest of the political map shows significant fragmentation: PRO garners a mere 5.9%, while non-Kirchnerist Peronism reaches 4.5%. The left stands at 3.0%, and UCR virtually disappears from the radar with just 1.8%.

This scenario confirms that Javier Milei's government, after having avoided the worst crisis in history and achieving a strong economic recovery, has consolidated. Despite attacks from the opposition, destabilization attempts, and media operations, the ruling party has managed to maintain and even expand its electoral base.

The policies of deficit elimination, economic liberalization, state reform, and the fight against "the caste" are generating a positive response among broad social sectors.

Beyond the hard numbers, the survey also shows a high proportion of undecided voters (10.4%) and people who state they won't vote (4.7%), indicating that there is still room for LLA to expand its lead if it manages to attract part of that electorate.

In comparison, Peronism shows signs of stagnation. Its difficulty in rebuilding a unified and modern proposal seems to be driving voters away, especially among the youngest segments and those from the interior of the country, who strongly support Milei's administration.

If the trend continues, Milei could not only reaffirm his political leadership but also move toward his own legislative majority, which is key to deepening his reform program. If these numbers are repeated in October, LLA would obtain a robust bloc in the Chamber of Deputies and could even threaten the Senate control held by traditional forces.
