Toyota launched the 2027 Corolla Cross in Argentina with design tweaks and new prices
All versions maintain front-wheel drive. While Toyota continues to bet on its traditional hybrid technology, several of its competitors already offer more powerful turbo engines and even plug-in hybrid (PHEV) systems.
The new range of the SUV is structured as follows:
Corolla Cross XLi 2.0 CVT: $51,918,000.
Toyota Argentina officially launched the new Corolla Cross 2027, an update of its SUV for Segment C that incorporates changes in design, equipment, and interior finishes. The model is already available at dealerships across the country and is imported from Brazil.
The renewal is presented simultaneously with the Brazilian market under the name Model Year 2027. Although it maintains the same mechanical base, it adds aesthetic touches and an update to the cabin to continue competing in one of the most contested segments of the market.
The main novelty of this update is in the interior. According to the Japanese brand, the instrument panel has been redesigned, and materials and finishes have been modified to offer a more modern and sophisticated appearance.
The changes aim to elevate the perceived quality of the SUV, one of the points where several competitors have begun to gain ground in recent years.
The variant with a sporty aesthetic was the one that received the most visual modifications within the range.
The Corolla Cross GR Sport debuts a new front grille, changes in the fender trims, a renewed design for the wheels, and new interior coverings on doors and sills.
These updates aim to further differentiate the sporty version within the Corolla Cross family.
In the mechanical section, there are no changes compared to the previous model. The range continues to offer two well-known alternatives.
2.0 gasoline engine: 171 hp and 203 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic transmission with ten simulated gears.
1.8 hybrid engine: 122 hp and 142 Nm of torque, combined with an eCVT automatic transmission.

One of the differentiators of the model remains the coverage offered by the brand.
All versions of the Toyota Corolla Cross 2027 come with a warranty of 10 years or 200,000 kilometers, a benefit that also extends to the batteries of the hybrid variants.
With this update, Toyota aims to keep the Corolla Cross among the most chosen SUVs in the Argentine market, a segment that increasingly adds more competitors with electrified technology and state-of-the-art equipment.
