Trump deepened his criticism of Europe's performance, warned about a structural decline on the continent, and demanded greater responsibility within NATO
In a significant shift from the traditional American discourse, Donald Trump warned that much of Europe is undergoing a process of institutional, economic, and cultural decline. From failed immigration policies to the lack of concrete results in the continent's defense, the president pointed out that several European governments "talk too much and produce little."
Trump mentioned deep changes in cities such as Paris and London, to which he attributed negative transformations resulting from immigration models that—according to him—have deteriorated cohesion and security. In that scenario, he stressed that many European cities will cease to be "viable" if they persist with the same strategies.
A NATO that needs order and commitment
The President devoted a central part of the interview to the functioning of NATO. With his usual direct style, he stated that "NATO calls me daddy" to emphasize that it was his administration that forced numerous countries to significantly increase their defense investment, from 2 to 5% of GDP.

Although he ruled out leaving the alliance, he called for an individual analysis of the members and a halt to expansions that do not contribute strategic stability. In that context, he highlighted the weight of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as a strong and relevant ally, and considered that expansions such as the incorporation of Sweden must be evaluated with great caution so as not to weaken the overall structure.
Support for strong leaders and the immigration debate
Trump publicly endorsed European leaders who have adopted consistent positions on immigration. He pointed to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán as one of the leaders who "did things right" and argued that nations that protect their identity and security achieve better results in the long term.

He also warned that, if current trends continue, Europe could experience irreversible transformations with a direct impact on its economic, political, and cultural stability.
Ukraine, Russia, and the global balance
Regarding the war between Russia and Ukraine, Trump maintained that Moscow holds a "stronger negotiating position" due to its territorial and military scale. He also considered that the conflict could have evolved into a Third World War if he had not held the presidency, and reiterated that Europe "is not handling" the crisis well nor fulfilling the commitments required by a scenario of this magnitude.

The President emphasized that the United States needs allies who take on their share of the effort and that the defense of the Western order will only be sustainable if each member acts with strategic responsibility.
