The president of the United States, Donald Trump, shared on his social media a video of the recent speech by the Argentine president Javier Milei during the World Economic Forum in Davos, in a new display of strong political and ideological support.
The content was shared by Trump through his Truth Social account, where he posted a fragment of the speech delivered by Milei, accompanied by a text quoted from a pro-Trump account.
Alongside the video, the message shared states:"The Argentine president Milei amazes the room by stating that America is SAVING the world from leftism and progressivism. "The rebirth of the ideas of FREEDOM. The Americas will be the beacon of LIGHT to illuminate the West". HE IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT".
The video shared by the U.S. president corresponds to the Argentine president's address in Davos, which was translated into English for international distribution. In that speech, Milei delivered an extensive ideological presentation focused on his vision of the course of the West and the role that the American continent must assume.
During his address, the Argentine head of state stated:"For some time now, the West, for some strange reason, has begun to turn its back on the ideas of freedom, and that is why, in this very place, in the year 2024, I stated that the West is in danger as a result of having embraced increasing doses of socialism in its most hypocritical version, which is wokism".
In the continuation of his message, Milei referred to his previous appearances at the same international forum, linking different moments of his political discourse over the past few years.
