Johnny Depp will visit Buenos Aires and will be interviewed by Verónica Lozano during his appearance on Telefe
The actor will also give a masterclass in La Plata alongside Italian actor Riccardo Scamarcio, the star of his new film. Modigliani, tres días en Montparnasse is a dramatic biopic set in Paris in 1916. It tells the story of three days in the life of artist Amedeo Modigliani, in the midst of his struggle against his own demons and the misery of war.
The project marks Depp's return behind the camera and confirms his interest in exploring more intimate and artistic stories, far from Hollywood blockbusters.
This won't be the first time Johnny Depp and Verónica Lozano meet outside the professional sphere. In February, the actor stayed at the house Lozano and Corcho Rodríguez own in Punta del Este. The friendship between the actor and the businessman began in 2010, thanks to the recording studio La Roca Power Studio, where Depp recorded with renowned international musicians.
Rodríguez and Depp got tattoos together as a sign of their brotherhood. "With my dear brother JD, we got the tattoo: he wrote mine and I wrote his. It's a lifelong commitment" the Argentine producer posted on his social media after that visit.
Johnny Depp will visit Argentina to present his new film as a director, Modigliani, tres días en Montparnasse. Among his most notable activities is an exclusive interview with Verónica Lozano on Cortá por Lozano (Telefe).
The star of Pirates of the Caribbean will have an intimate conversation with Lozano, who also has a personal connection with him, since Depp is a friend of her husband, Jorge "Corcho" Rodríguez. The meeting promises to be one of the most anticipated television moments of the month.
Telefe shared the announcement on its social media, and Vero Lozano herself enthusiastically reposted it. "Next Tuesday, the great Johnny Depp will be sitting on this couch!" the host celebrated at the end of her show. "We're going to talk about his projects, about love, and about his life in Hollywood" she previewed amid applause from her team.
The news quickly went viral. The actor's fans celebrated the opportunity to see him on Argentine television and highlighted the prestige of Lozano's show for securing such an exclusive interview.
