Vero Lozano surprised Luis Ventura with a very peculiar apology request

Vero Lozano decided to apologize to Luis Ventura after the anger sparked by the Martín Fierro awards ceremony, where Susana Giménez was crowned as Best Female Host. The reconciliation between the host and the president of APTRA took place after several days of media tension.

Ventura himself explained on Radio Del Plata how that moment unfolded. According to his account, Vero called him personally to clarify what had happened and smooth things over after publicly questioning the results of her category.

During the interview, Luis Ventura recalled how the reunion went. "That person getting out of a 4x4 at the Telefe studio with open arms to hug me gave me a sense of peace. She said: 'Look, I want to apologize,' and I replied: 'No, apologies only to God; we're equals, and that's fine'", the journalist explained.

Ventura added that he did not feel anger, but rather some sadness after Lozano's statements: "I wasn't angry; it hurt me. If there was anger, it came after the pain, I didn't expect it", he admitted. He also stated that he understands the reasons for the host's anger and that the matter is now behind them.

In an interview with Intrusos (América TV), the host of Cortá por Lozano had expressed her discomfort after losing the category to Susana Giménez. "Many injustices, starting with me; Susana and Mariana Fabbiani won. Mariana is fine. But I deserved to win, not because Susana isn't a host, but because she has many awards and this year she only did four shows", she said ironically.

Lozano's statement caused a strong reaction on social media and in the press. According to Intrusos, the host did not expect her words to have such an impact and that's why she decided to contact Ventura to clarify things personally.
