Trump got tired: he wants Hamas to release the hostages and for the war to end once and for all

It should be remembered that Israel has always accepted ceasefire proposals, while Hamas has rejected all of them

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, expressed his deep desire to end the Gaza war and for all hostages to be released. His press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, communicated this in an official statement from the White House.

"We have seen reports that many people are dying in Gaza. The President doesn't like to see that. He wants the deaths to end, and he wishes to negotiate a ceasefire in this region," Leavitt stated. "Obviously, he also wants all hostages to be released from Gaza."

The statement comes at a time of renewed intensity in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. The Trump administration has attempted to present itself as a mediating actor willing to intervene diplomatically to halt the escalation.

In her remarks, Leavitt also referred to the recent Israeli attacks on Syrian territory. "The President keeps a good relationship with Prime Minister Netanyahu and is in constant contact with him, but he was surprised by the attacks in Syria," she noted.

Trump, who has adopted a critical stance toward the prolongation of the conflict in the Middle East, reiterated his commitment to a negotiated solution. "The President's message about this conflict is clear: it has lasted too long. It has become brutal. The President wants this to stop," Leavitt said.

The White House emphasized that one of Trump's priorities over the past six months has been to achieve the release of hostages held by Hamas, which, according to Leavitt, has already yielded results. "We have seen significant releases, including that of the last American hostage alive, Eidan Alexander. This was the result of diplomatic efforts and the administration's approach to ending this conflict," she concluded.

It is essential to remember that Israel has accepted numerous ceasefire proposals, but Hamas terrorists have systematically rejected them.
