#TelevisaLeaks: Leak revealed that Televisa fabricated stories and helped Zaldivar
The Mexican company has been accused of media manipulation several times, and this leak would confirm it
A serious leak has shaken the telecommunications giant Televisa. According to the investigation by Aristegui Noticias, documents leaked under the name #TelevisaLeaks expose the company.
According to the investigation, Televisa fabricated child sexual abuse allegations and executed smear campaigns against businessman Carlos Slim. Additionally, it promoted the image of Arturo Zaldívar to strengthen his candidacy for the presidency of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN).
The revelation covers more than five terabytes of internal information (twice the Panama Papers). It also reveals the operation of the team "Palomar," led by Javier Tejado Dondé, vice president of the Televisa Information Office.

This team operated with personnel from the television network and the company Metrics to Index, specialized in black campaigns and manipulation of trends on social networks.
According to the report, thousands of files, photos, scripts, and forged chats were created from Televisa's offices to build smear campaigns.
Among those affected are journalist Carmen Aristegui, who presented this investigation on her program. Meanwhile, the tycoon Carlos Slim, was targeted in attacks on social networks after the collapse of the Line 12 of the Mexico City Metro.

Buying wills: Televisa and the Morena member Arturo Zaldivar.
One of the most alarming aspects of the leak is the mention of the Morena member Arturo Zaldívar, now an official of the Presidency of the Republic.Zaldívar used resources from the Judiciary and the machinery of Televisa to promote his image and attack other ministers.Bots and fake pages were employed for his defense against any public criticism.
The informant identified as Germán Gómez García, a former employee of Televisa, was the one who revealed the contentafter a labor dispute. The operation was coordinated through the Telegram chat called "Palomar On Fire."

But it also involved the creation of apocryphal material: checks, contracts, fake conversations, and manipulated videos.
Additionally, it points to the fabrication of chats attributed to figures like Layda Sansores to affect her political image. So far, Grupo Televisa has not issued any statement regarding these accusations.
Carmen Aristegui announced that in the coming days, new installments will be published that will delve into the media operation between Televisa and Metrics. This could represent one of the biggest information manipulation scandals in Mexico.
