Is Adrián Suar on the ropes? El Trece faces a crisis with restructurings

Suar's future as programming director would be tied to the outcome of the new premieres

The atmosphere at El Trece has become increasingly tense in recent hours. While the channel prepares a "super Monday" with major premieres and schedule reshuffling, rumors are growing about a possible departure of Adrián Suar, a historic figure at the station and current programming director.

According to Marina Calabró on the show Lape Club Social, hosted by Sergio Lapegüe on América TV, Suar's continuity could be at stake if the planned launches do not achieve the expected results. "A super important card is being played," the journalist warned.

Calabró revealed that there may already be an exit plan for Suar

During her intervention, Calabró went further: she stated that there is not only pressure due to ratings, but that an exit plan for Suar may already be under consideration in the short term. "I discussed it with a colleague: a plan for his departure may have been proposed at the channel. Some say that in this last stand, Adrián Suar's head is on the line," she declared emphatically.

She also suggested that Suar's departure would take part of his inner circle within the company with him: "I suppose that, out of loyalty and teamwork, Pablo Codevilla and Coco will leave with him."

The journalist emphasized that rumors about a possible departure of the producer and actor are not new. "They've been firing him for ten years," she said ironically, making it clear that such rumors are part of the channel's usual ecosystem, although this time the context seems to be different.

Key reshuffling and a high-stakes gamble

The schedule renewal begins this Monday, July 14, with three major moves:

At 6:30 p.m. ¡Ahora Caigo! will air in a new time slot.

At 9:00 p.m. Guido Kaczka will premiere Buenas noches, familia, a format featuring challenges and audience participation.

At 10:30 p.m.Mario Pergolini will return to television with Otro día perdido,a late night show aiming to revolutionize the channel's nighttime line-up.

Pergolini's return, Kaczka's prominence, and the redesign of prime time are not coincidental: all eyes are on the ratings. The results could be decisive not only for programming but also for the executive leadership.

Now, the big question is whether these gambles will be enough to sustain Suar's leadership or if they will mark the end of an era. For now, the cards are already on the table.
