On Monday, June 30, the new official images of the royal family of the Netherlands were released, taken during the traditional summer photo session. The event took place in the gardens of Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague, and showed the monarchs Willem-Alexander and Máxima Zorreguieta together with their three daughters, the princesses Amalia, Alexia, and Ariane.
After eight months without sharing a public family image, the production marked the long-awaited reunion in front of the cameras. As is now customary, their dog Mambo also joined the event and was featured in several photos.

A rescheduled event filled with symbolism
The photo session had originally been scheduled for June 12, but was postponed due to a domestic accident. Princess Amalia suffered a fracture in her left arm after a fall from a horse and had to undergo emergency surgery. Despite the cast, she managed to recover in time to participate in the official production.
This event also marked Ariane's return to family images, since during King's Day she was absent due to academic reasons. The 18-year-old was taking her final exams at the United World College of the Adriatic in Italy, from which she graduated on May 24.

The production included group and individual portraits. The sisters posed together, as did the king and queen, who also took photos with their eldest daughter, Amalia. The choice of the garden area was different from the previous year, with a new framing that revealed a bridge and a lagoon on the property.
