Retirees in Córdoba can, through a procedure, receive benefits with the SUBE transportation card.
The Municipality of Córdoba launched a campaign so that adults over 70 years old can have forty free rides on urban transportation.
The local Transportation Secretariat explained that the procedure consists of migrating the benefit from the Red Bus card to the SUBE card.
The authorized locations to carry out the procedure are the offices at Palacio 6 de Julio and the offices of urban transportation companies at the Bus Terminal.
It was also clarified that beneficiaries can go to the bus stop, board the vehicle, and ask the driver to enable the benefit for them. "The driver presses a button and it's already enabled," said the Deputy Secretary of Transportation, Eduardo Ramírez.
Starting from the 41st ticket, beneficiaries will be able to access the 55% discount granted by the Nation if they are national retirees or pensioners.
