Johnny Depp not only won over the Argentine audience with his charisma during his appearance on Cortá por Lozano (Telefe), but also its host, Verónica Lozano, who dared to share what the private dinner they had the night before the television interview was like.
The gathering took place at the home Lozano shares with her husband, Jorge “Corcho” Rodríguez, a close friend of the American actor. The very bond between them was what made it possible for Depp to accept a “candlelit dinner”, as the host described it, which turned out to be a night full of anecdotes, laughter, and good food.
“It was a very beautiful dinner at home. Jorge chose the menu, the table looked wonderful, with candles, everything very warm. Johnny was there, his assistant, Gina (a friend), and us,” Vero shared live on her show.

The host explained that the menu included homemade empanadas, fresh pasta, and a handcrafted dessert, prepared especially for the occasion. “We ate beef empanaditas that Diego, a friend of ours, cooked. Johnny ate about four and said: 'I really like them. Can I take some frozen ones with me?'” she recounted, laughing.
