Two terrorists stabbed a guard and opened fire on civilians after stealing his weapon
A 20-year-old man was killed today at the Gush Etzion junction after two terrorists opened fire in a commercial area.
The strikers came from a nearby Palestinian village, stabbed the Rami Levy supermarket guard, and after stealing his weapon, opened fire on civilians.
The young man who was gunned down confronted them bravely, but was struck by the bullets.
Security forces arrived quickly at the scene and ultimately eliminated the terrorists.
The army spokesperson reported that the Israel Defense Forces are surrounding the Palestinian town of Halhul and have set up roadblocks in the surrounding area as part of the search operations.
Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedic Achiad Goharyan, who was the first to arrive at the scene, stated: "We received an alert about a man injured in a shooting attack. We quickly moved to the location with several units. We found a young man of approximately 20 years old unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, with gunshot wounds on his body. Unfortunately, his injuries were too severe and we couldn't do anything but confirm his death."
The attack, carried out in a busy commercial area, reignites alarms about the escalation of violence in the West Bank and the need to strengthen security measures at sensitive points. Investigations are ongoing.
