The three Atlético Madrid players were left out of the friendly match against Angola because they did not have the yellow fever vaccine
Argentina National Team suffered three unexpected absences ahead of the friendly match against Angola. Julián Álvarez, Nahuel Molina, and Giuliano Simeone, Atlético de Madrid players, were ruled out this Monday for not having received the yellow fever vaccine, a mandatory requirement to enter the African country.
Through an official statement, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) explained that the players did not complete the immunization procedures in time, which is why they will not be able to take part in the match scheduled for this Friday at 1:00 p.m.

These absences add to that of Enzo Fernández, who was ruled out over the weekend due to bone edema in his right knee. The Chelsea midfielder will remain in recovery and will not be risked by the coaching staff.
The setbacks once again complicate Lionel Scaloni, who had already decided to release the domestic league players (Leandro Paredes, Marcos Acuña, Gonzalo Montiel, Lautaro Rivero, and Facundo Cambeses) so they could play the final matchday of the regular phase of the Clausura tournament.
For now, the players who will fill these vacancies have not been confirmed; however, not all the news was bad for the world champion coaching staff. In recent hours, two defenders have joined the squad: Kevin Mac Allister, who could make his debut with the senior team, and Lisandro Martínez, who returns after a ligament injury, although he will only take part in training sessions.

During this FIFA window, Argentina will play only one friendly, since a second opponent could not be arranged. For this reason, the coaching staff will make the most of the training sessions in Alicante, which will continue until Thursday, to observe and evaluate the called-up players.
After the match against Angola, the Albiceleste delegation will remain in Europe and continue training until November 18, when the official activity for the FIFA window concludes.
