Mario Pergolini heated up El Trece's screen with a jab at the Pettinato family
After his sharp comments, Pergolini begins his second week with a strong bet on his guests
With his sharp humor, Mario Pergolini closed his first week at the helm of Otro Día Perdido with a phrase that did not go unnoticed. "Friday, how great! And they didn't fire us!" he said on air. However, the spiciest part came afterwards: "If we make it through another week, we'll surpass the one who had the worst performance of the year."
Although he did not mention him by name, the target of the phrase wasHomero Pettinato, whose show Reacción en Cadena lasted only two weeks on El Trece's screen. The comment rekindled an old latent tension between Pergolini and the Pettinato family, especially with Roberto, the young host's father.
An ironic jab and an old rivalry
On the very day Pergolini returned to broadcast television, July 14, Roberto Pettinato posted something that did not go unnoticed. "Of all the shows, La Voz Argentina is the best. I went to bed late, but it was worth it" he wrote on his social media.

The phrase, apparently innocent, was a direct irony aimed at Otro Día Perdido, which competed that Monday with Telefe's show. In the television world, the message was read as a declaration of cold war.
Roberto Pettinato and Mario Pergolini shared iconic times in the 1990s, but their relationship was never close. The differences in their styles today are resurfacing strongly.

Star guests in Pergolini's new show
Despite the tension, Otro Día Perdidohad a strong start in terms of guests. During its first week, Pergolini interviewed prominent figures such as Guillermo Francella, Cazzu, Joaquín Furriel, Agustina Kämpfer, Malena Pichot, and Pilar Gamboa.
For this second week, the show will continue to bet on big names. According to journalist Pampito, the line-up is as follows:
- Monday: Florencia Peña
- Tuesday: Eduardo Feinmann
- Wednesday: Palito Ortega
- Thursday: Zoe Gotusso
- Friday: Darío Barassi

With this line-up, Pergolini seeks to establish himself in a challenging time slot and continue attracting viewers on a channel that is strongly backing his return.
The war with the Pettinatos, for now, is being fought with irony. However, in Argentine television, a single spark is enough to ignite a fire.
